The Hinton Merchants hold an annual Pancake Supper to show their appreciation for the community's support. This "THANK YOU" event has been going on for the last 35 years.  The supper is held on Wednesday in December every year.

Also, every year, this event is visited by a special person. Santa comes to visit with the children and hand each one a sack of candy. This is the highlight for the children.
