THE EVANGELICAL CHURCH OF NORTH AMERICA was born in 1968, rooted in the Wesleyan doctrine, with a heritage from both the Evangelical Brethren Church and the Holiness Methodist Church.

As a denomination, our core tenets of faith include our belief in
• A triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)
• The inspired, inerrant Word of God
• The depravity of man (we have no righteousness of our own)
• Reconciliation to God only through Jesus Christ (salvation)

As a congregation, we are to consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24), coming together for the corporate worship and Christian fellowship, so as to cultivate the inner life of a Christian and to build the Christian community.

As individuals, our principle purpose in life must be to enter into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ as one’s Lord and Savior. When asked which was the greatest commandment, Jesus responded, “Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Mark 12:29b-31a)

We are thankful for your presence with us! We trust that your worship experience with us will be positive, and that your desire shall be to endeavor the Christian life for each breath given to you by God.
